• Here is the story: ( This is Newspaper material but doubt they'd print it since they make millions off Realtors Ads)
  
  Told a neighbour in our Condo that we were going to try and sell our Condo and found out she wanted to sell also BCs she is moving to Alberta to be near her family who moved last year. She asked us the price we were going to ask and then before we had finished cleaning up and taking pictures their it was ... a real estate sign outside the front of our building. Our neighbour put her place up for the same price to the dollar before we even started. I thought bonus... FREE TRAFFIC... well i was wrong about that. We sent more people her way then she did ours.
  
  Well guess who sold for $900 below asking price in under 2 weeks with all conditions removed and now our neighbour with the realtor just reduced her asking price $2400.00. Plus she will have to pay the professional upwards of $7,000 for having to wait longer and get less for her property. I'm almost in shock and don't think I will ever use a realtor the rest of my life. We spent $46.00 total marketing the property. Our $16.00 ad with you was where our buyers found us.

  Only complaint is that we now want to buy a home and their are so few
  available by owner. MORE PEOPLE NEED TO LIST THIS WAY and save their equity for their next house and retire a few years sooner!
  
  Please leave our ad up until it expires or i notify further.. as I've been sending the calls her way. She is now taking sleeping pills from the stress of selling her home. The fact we are done and now house hunting isn't helping since I offered to help her sell on her own before she got the pro.

It was a very good investment to advertise on BC homes for sale and I have recommended it to others who were surprised that we did it ourselves. The biggest skeptics were in the bank I deal with as they figured only a real estate agent could do the job. It was nice to show them up !! Even our ex realtor was surprised.
  Your site was particularly useful for a more global approach and we received calls form all over North America. The quality of photos are far superior to 99% of the MLS pages one sees and this is what made the difference in the sale. It was first viewed by the buyers and then when they saw a magazine ad I ran just once, it triggered them to look at your site again and they paid us a visit soon afterwards. We move on November 8th.

The # of page views for the month of March 2001  surpassed 400,000 from aprox 30,000 unique visitors to home page. & roughly 100,000 unique visitors for entire site.  All this is in part due to our ever growing popularity, & the fact that we do advertise HOMES FOR SALE rather than the option to list if selling. 

Please be advised many competitors will flood their site with non existent homes, SOLD ads and / or phony statistics. They do this in order to trick you into handing over your hard earned money. Deceiving web sites will refer to (web site hits) rather than refer to what is important Unique visitors. On our site ( you count as 1 visitor ) 
  
BC Homes For Sale will not play deceitful games as we have integrity. Our server logs show 4 million 600,000 hits for the month of March 2001. Would it be fair to claim to the public we had over 4 & a half million hits in the month of March & leave it at that?  Maybe this would be legal, but far from honest as hits refer to the # of images shown & represent nothing in relation to honest traffic statistics. You may not think a web site could get away with that however there is no one to stop this, it's buyer (seller) beware. We have earned our popularity through years of honest hard work and effective advertising. Remember BC HOMES FOR SALE list only for BC which means we are highly targeted & effective in advertising your home (Your home for sale) rather than "list your home here".
   
 All that said and done we cannot sell a home that is over priced. Sellers must know their fair market value & list accordingly.

  Thank you for this great avenue to list our home. We have had many inquiries to date. We have just closed on a sale this past week, June 17th. So now how do I get my ad removed from this site???? I thought I had requested this several weeks ago, once the offer on our home was accepted, but tonight I checked to make sure, and there were 17 entries in my email box!! I have responded to those which referred to the home, not the junk mail.
  Please delete my ad, rancher in Scotch Creek, North Shuswap (Salmon Arm) area. It was originally listed in Jan.99.
  Thank you for this service. I guess you can eliminate my mailbox also at the same time.

  Our Comment: Of course you can however not every thing in this world is free, it cost money to operate a site like this. We charge a nominal fee of $75.00 for 6 pictures and your own web page. Rest assured if your a serous and motivated seller you will get a lot more traffic to your advertisement by including pictures. Viewers love to view pictures and our homes with pictures category page gets more traffic than any other on our site. (it runs up to 6 months too)
